Septic Repair across Metro Atlanta

Sewage smells, a soggy patch over the drain field, or an alarm going off all point to a septic system in trouble. We find the actual failure and repair it, whether that's a baffle, a pump, a line, or the field itself.

TrueGrade Sewer & Septic handles septic repair across Metro Atlanta, GA — Covington, Conyers, Loganville, Monroe, and the surrounding towns. One licensed, GA DPH-certified crew works every step, from the first locate and permit to the final backfill and cleanup, on the ground and old lines this area is built on.

Wherever you are in Metro Atlanta, your septic repair estimate is free and the all-in price is in writing before we start — permits pulled, inspections passed, and our workmanship warranty on every job.

The payoff

Straight diagnosis

We trace the problem from the house to the tank to the field. If a $300 part fixes it, that's what we'll tell you.

Certified to work on septic

We're a Georgia DPH-certified septic installer and pumper, so repairs are done to the standard your county health department expects.

Protects your drain field

A drain field is the most expensive part of the system. We catch problems early so a small repair doesn't turn into a full replacement.

How It Works

The whole line in three steps

1

Call or request an estimate

Tell us what is going on — a backup, a soggy yard, low pressure, or a new install. We come out, camera the line if we need to, and give you a straight, written price.

2

We dig in and fix it right

One licensed crew does the whole job — trenchless where it fits, careful excavation where it does not — repairing or replacing the line, tank, or drain field.

3

Inspected, backfilled, restored

We pull the permits, get the work inspected and signed off, compact the backfill, and put your yard back so you would barely know we were there.

★★★★★
“Sewage was coming up in the downstairs shower on a Saturday night. They answered the phone, had a guy at my house in under an hour, and had the line open before bedtime. Came back Monday with a camera and showed me the root problem. Fair price, no games.”

★★★★★
“Our drain field was failing and I was dreading the bill. TrueGrade did the soil work, pulled the permit, put in the new system, and passed inspection the first time. The yard is graded and seeded and you'd never know they were there.”
Denise R. Denise R.

★★★★★
“I manage four rental properties and use TrueGrade for all of them. They show up when they say, they send photos of the work, and the invoice always matches the quote. That's more than I can say for most trades.”

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does sewer or septic work cost?

It depends on the pipe or system, how deep it is, how long the damaged section runs, and what's on top of it, like a driveway or a mature tree. We give you the price in writing before work starts, and we don't change it unless you add to the scope. We also offer financing on larger projects, ask when you call.

Do I need to dig up my whole yard to fix a sewer line?

Often, no. If the pipe is still mostly intact, we can line it from the inside with a trenchless repair. If a section is collapsed or badly bellied, we spot dig that section or replace the line. The camera tells us which, and we show you the footage.

How fast can you get here?

For emergencies, we answer 24/7 and send a crew right away. For non-emergency work, we can usually get you on the schedule within a few days, and larger installs depend on your county's permit timeline.

Do I need a permit, and do you handle it?

Septic installs and many repairs, new sewer laterals, and some water line work need a permit. Newton, Rockdale, Walton, and Henry each have their own process. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and make sure it passes.

How often should I pump my septic tank?

For most households, every three to five years. A bigger family, a smaller tank, or a garbage disposal means more often. We'll tell you what your tank actually needs when we pump it, not a one-size-fits-all number.

What are the warning signs of a septic problem?

Slow drains throughout the house, gurgling pipes, sewage smells inside or in the yard, a soggy or unusually green patch over the drain field, and a high-water alarm. If you see any of them, call early. Catching it sooner is almost always cheaper.
